For the first time in 100 years, access to the Redfern-North Eveleigh Precinct will be unlocked under a strategic vision by TAHE to create a new global destination for jobs, housing and public spaces.

The Project is part of TAHE’s strategic vision and planning for NSW to realise the potential of underutilised rail infrastructure.

By creating better connections to the surrounding urban areas, the Project will enable more active public transport usage and create additional spaces to support a vibrant and thriving community.

Affordable Housing Pilot Project

TAHE’s Affordable Housing Pilot Project will unlock new housing opportunities to help tackle the rising challenge of housing affordability in NSW.

The Project will support the NSW Government’s initiatives as outlined in the Housing 2041: NSW Housing Strategy, around delivering a range of housing solutions at connected and serviced locations.

The AHPP has established a framework to partner with the open market for the delivery of new affordable housing stock across the state.

We acknowledge the Wodi Wodi people on Dharawal country as the traditional custodians of the land on which our precinct is located.

We are committed to honouring Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas and their rich contribution to our community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
